My first time knits continued…

Hello lovely peeps, makers and creators, well I promised I would keep you up to date on my new hobby and knitting progress.

So pictured above is a basic scarf that I have knitted for my son as a little extra stocking filler.

I wouldn’t have thought that it would be something that he would be interested in, but it came about after he saw me knitting and took a great interest.  Being a typical 19 year old he came straight to the point and asked me if I was any good!! Lol to which I replied “I am doing okay” “well then” he said “you can knit me something” and so I did.

The scarf itself is a basic garter stitch and was a free pattern with a ball of Patons fab and chunky yarn that I bought. It was a really good way to get me started and practice whilst being able to complete something from start to finish.

The scarf was a big hit with my son and so hopefully he will get much enjoyment out of wearing it.
