Today I wanted to share a recent press feature, which is especially poingant in light of the upcoming Diamond Jubilee celebrations and the olympics.  Once again Tigerlily Makes is thrilled to have been featured in the craft magazine for retailers “Craft Focus” not only featured, but featured in the Best of British catagory!

Tigerlily Makes “Right Royal Kits” Jubalily’s Jubalicous Cushion Cover kit made its way into Craft Focus’s “Best of British” catagory with our cushion cover fit for a Queen kit.

This kit went into design phase early in 2010… I was planning on having it ready for the “Royal Wedding” but wasn’t 100% happy with the prototype and therefore it went back into re-design and was given a sneek peak preview in October 2011.  The response to these Brit Kits has been overwhelming and so I feel it was a well worth while exercise in taking the time to re-visit the design.

At the time whilst the Union Jack theme of kits, gifts and homewares had been exploited, there had not been “to the best of my knowledge” any designs of this nature in hadmade felt incoporating wet felted techniques.

So the Tigerlily makes Brit Kit range was born.
